Today's Ride: Total Distance 58.4km, Difficulty - hard
Stage 3 Nannup to Nannup road-race 102.06km
Today's Ride: Race
Yesterday's time trails may have taken the snap out of our legs but today's goal - a stage victory requires precision and planning to get the old master to the line. The stakes are high, at least one team cow needs to make it back to the eastern states to add to the PAC collection.
The undulating course will challenge.
The points and grading system set the previous day following the results of the time trials will confound the most ardent strategist. Guided by the master we will watch the breaks setting a hard pace until the time is right for our own attack, and victory.
Stage four Yalingup to Witchcliff Road-race 64.41km
Today's Ride: Road-race 64.41km
A short but extremely bumpy stage presents for our final Tour of Margaret River challenge. Fatigue will have set in, your glorious leader will be on his knees fighting hard to retain his podium place due only to the huge sacrifice of his team members. The days strategy in place we will race for glory.
65km of hard racing to bring the team home.
Gathering for the presentation ceremony at the end of a hard 3 day tour the Phil Anderson Pro-Am team will have established themselves as serious challengers to the the young NRS upstarts. Contemplation of changing careers will no doubt diminish by the time you return home but for a brief moment, the glorious life of a professional rider is hinted at.
Recovery is in order, a legends dinner to celebrate the tour scheduled to toast our achievements and hosted by our the Tour of Margaret River events team.
